GORKHA INT’L PUBLIC HIGHER SEC. SCHOOL is named after the Gorkha warriors whose conspicuous gallantry in combat has brought them glory and international reputation. Establish in the year 1998 AD by a group of enthusiastic GURKHAS, the school has a total strength of 1700 students at present. It is spread over a lavish area of around 65 ropanis of land where you have playgrounds of ample proportions for conducting games and sports, an ideal place conducive to healthy growth and development. It is comfortably situated on an elevated ground overlooking the highway in the front and the Katuwa Khola at the back. With dynamic and dedicated teachers from home and abroad, it caters for the educational needs of children from every segment of the society. The school has been running 10+2 level in Science Stream as a showpiece from 2005 onwards with outstanding result in its initial and subsequent years. Likewise, Management stream has been running since the Academic Year-2007 under separate management in the morning shift. Currently, GIPHSS has managed to carve out a comfortable place for itself in the educational arena in the Mid-Western Region. Though a fledgling institute yet, we are proud to be a part and parcel of education. We have been striving to meet the very high standards, academic wise, in extra-curricular activities and the all-round development of the school. We commit to live for our work which is the totality of our life.
